Fast Charge – Charging Monitor (the “App”) is provided by Valiance Code (“we”, “us”, or the “Developer”) as a free service with ad-supported features. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.

1. What the App Does

The App is a utility designed to help users monitor their device's battery metrics in real-time. It analyzes and interprets charging speeds (categorized as Slow, Normal, Fast, or Ultra-Fast), measures electrical properties (wattage, current, voltage), and tracks hardware health and temperature parameters. It generates contextual troubleshooting tips to help users identify potential charging bottlenecks or safety risks (such as overheating).

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information Processed Locally on Your Device

To provide the core functionality of the App, we read real-time device battery hardware states using standard Android system APIs. This includes:

• Battery Metrics: Charging state, percentage, live wattage, voltage, current, and structural battery health.
• Temperature Data: Local thermal metrics used to trigger warning protocols if the device is running abnormally hot.

Note: This hardware data is processed dynamically on your local device to generate insights and local historical logs. It is not transmitted to our servers.

2.2 Information You Provide Externally

• Support Communications: If you contact us via email, we may collect your email address, device technical specs (to debug issues), and the contents of your message.

2.3 Information Collected Automatically by Third Parties

To keep the app free and maintain performance, we use third-party Developer SDKs (Software Development Kits) that automatically collect and process certain limited technical and advertising identifiers:

• Analytics & Diagnostics: Performance metrics, app crash logs, device orientation, system events, and standard device models.
• Device Identifiers: Android Advertising ID (AAID), IP address (used purely for broad, approximate city/country localization), system language, and mobile network operator details.

3. How We Use Information

• To monitor, compute, and present accurate battery charging speeds and system health statuses.
• To serve context-relevant advertising (such as rewarded video ads to unlock advanced battery optimization tips).
• To track down unexpected system bugs, app failures, and memory leaks using automated crash reporting.
• To respond to user customer support inquiries.

4. Legal Bases (EEA/UK Users)

• Contract: To deliver basic local battery diagnostic workflows.
• Legitimate Interests: To optimize code stability, detect app abuse, and fix errors.
• Consent: For running targeted programmatic third-party ads and analytics tools where legally required by localized data privacy laws.

5. Third-Party Services

The App relies on external providers to serve advertisements and log system crashes. These services process data independently governed by their own specific privacy statements:

• Google AdMob (and its mediation systems)

We do not sell any personal info or battery profiling metrics to any broker or external third party.

6. Ads, Analytics & Your Choices

• Advertising Identifiers: You can completely reset your unique mobile advertising ID or entirely opt-out of personalized target ads at any time via your system settings (Settings > Google > Ads > Delete/Reset Advertising ID).
• Ad Mediation Partners: Our partners (AdMob, Unity, Liftoff) use these anonymous tracking signals to provide matching geographic relevant ads and run video incentives.

7. Data Retention

• Local Data: All local database inputs, such as charging session history, stay securely on your system data directory until you manually clear app data or uninstall the App.
• Analytics & Logs: Diagnostic records pushed to Firebase Crashlytics are routinely scrubbed automatically based on their default data management periods.

8. Security

We restrict internal operations to trusted industry-standard SDKs. However, because no electronic data mechanism over mobile infrastructure is 100% impenetrable, we cannot guarantee absolute fallback security.

9. Children’s Privacy

The App is a general audience technical hardware utility and is not structured for or directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not deliberately gather tracking information from children.

10. Your Rights

For EEA/UK Users:

You have the legal right to inspect what technical details are handled, petition corrections, object to marketing profiles, or petition data deletion where structurally applicable.

For California Residents (CCPA/CPRA):

You preserve the right to notice on what tracking categories are processed, reject advertising data monetization transfers, and request deletion profiles without commercial discrimination.

11. Your Controls & Opt-Out

You can quickly drop out of all active tracking sequences and stop all local battery hardware state calculations instantly by simply removing and uninstalling the App from your device.
